Information for Prospective Students

The Intelligent Biosignal Informatics Laboratory (Furui Lab) conducts research aimed at understanding human information processing systems and creating new technologies utilizing these insights, focusing on biosignal processing and machine learning.

We welcome research members from various backgrounds, including internal assignment candidates, graduate school applicants from technical colleges, applicants from other universities, and working professionals seeking doctoral programs.

Research Students

Research students are international students who wish to conduct research in specific fields at undergraduate or graduate levels.

Research students are affiliated with laboratories at Hiroshima University and conduct research on specific themes for approximately 6 months to 1 year.

Many students who wish to enter graduate school use this system as a preparation period for graduate school entrance examinations.

Master's Students

General selection (April or October enrollment) is the common admission method for international students.

For international students living outside Japan with excellent academic records, you may apply for the Special Selection for International Students [For Students Living Outside Japan].

Applicants need to obtain consent and agreement from the prospective supervisor. If you are interested, please contact us by email first.

Doctoral Students

We welcome doctoral students and encourage those interested in obtaining a doctoral degree from our laboratory to apply.
